The heavy oak door clicked shut, sealing out the city noise and leaving us in a bubble of quiet luxury. Little LeAnn stood by the floor-to-ceiling window, her silhouette cutting a sharp, elegant figure against the skyline. I hesitated for a second, caught between the nervous energy of a new consultation and the undeniable pull of her gaze. She turned, a slow, predatory smile playing on her lips that made my breath hitch in my throat.
“You’re late,” she purred, her voice low and smooth like dark chocolate. “But I suppose it gives me time to prepare.”
I sat in the leather chair opposite her desk, trying to compose myself, to look the part of the successful client she usually dealt with. But looking at her, sitting amidst the shadows, I felt like prey. She was a whirlwind of contradictions—tiny in stature but commanding an entire room, sweet on the surface but sharp enough to cut glass. Today, however, the sharp edges seemed to have melted away into something far more dangerous.
“I had some traffic,” I stammered, my hands gripping the arms of the chair a little too tightly.
“Nonsense. It’s a Tuesday,” she dismissed, standing up. She walked around the corner of the desk, her heels clicking a steady rhythm on the hardwood floor that seemed to echo directly in my chest. She stopped right in front of me, close enough that I could smell her—sweet jasmine and sandalwood, a scent that felt like a warm blanket wrapping around my senses. “Now, take off your jacket. I need to get a read on your tension levels.”
It was a command, not a question. I found myself obeying without thinking, my fingers fumbling with the buttons. When the jacket was off, she reached out, her fingers brushing against my collarbone. The contact was electric. It wasn’t just a touch; it was an announcement. A subtle, deliberate stroke that sent a jolt of heat straight down to my groin.
“Good,” she murmured, her fingers lingering a second longer than necessary. “So much tension here. You carry the weight of the world on your shoulders, don’t you?”
“Yes, ma’am,” I whispered, my voice sounding stripped bare.
“Call me LeAnn,” she corrected, her fingers moving to the knot of my tie. With a gentle tug, she undid it, letting it fall to the side. Then, her hands moved to the top button of my shirt. Her movements were slow, practiced, like she was unwrapping the finest gift. “We have a lot of ground to cover tonight. You’ve been stressed for months. We need to fix that. Completely.”
“How do we do that?” I asked, leaning forward, unable to resist invading her personal space.
She looked up at me, her eyes dark and dilated. “Many ways,” she breathed. She placed a hand on my knee, her thumb tracing the line of my inner thigh. The heat of her palm seeped through the fabric of my trousers. “We can start with breathing. Or we can start with something… more direct.”
I swallowed hard, my heart hammering against my ribs. “I’m listening.”
“I like the way your pulse races,” she said, leaning in even closer. Her hair fell forward, a curtain of dark waves brushing against my shoulder. I could feel the warmth of her breath against my neck, sending shivers racing through me. “It tells me everything I need to know. It tells me you want this just as much as I do.”
She ran her hand up my thigh, the pressure increasing, moving with purpose. My head fell back against the chair, a groan escaping my lips before I could stop it. It was a surrender I hadn’t planned on making, but in the face of her expert touch and hypnotic gaze, resistance was futile.
“Look at me,” she commanded softly.
I forced my eyes open, locking onto hers. She was breathtakingly beautiful in this moment, her lips slightly parted, her cheeks flushed with a subtle pink. She wasn’t just an advisor anymore; she was a conductor, and I was her instrument. Every move she made, every breath she took, was leading me toward a crescendo I couldn’t possibly escape.
“You’re trembling,” she whispered, her fingers curling slightly, scratching lightly against sensitive skin. “That’s the first step to letting go. Let go of the job, the expectations, the stress. Just feel. Feel me.”
I let out a long, shuddering breath, my body relaxing into her touch, surrendering to the overwhelming wave of desire that washed over me. The world outside the window ceased to exist. There was only the scent of jasmine, the warmth of her hands, and the intoxicating pull of her eyes. She wasn’t just fixing my tension; she was unravelling me, piece by delicious piece, and as her fingers danced higher, I realized I didn’t want to be fixed. I just wanted to be hers, completely and utterly.
